This is an award that goes to the top business student in the college, and is a very selective award to achieve. Brother Nyhuis has been known as a leader on campus since arriving on campus in Fall 2013. This past year he has served as the Speaker Pro-Temp of the Western Student Association (student government), President of the Student Leadership Advisory Board within the Haworth College of Business, and he is currently serving as the Archon of the Theta Rho Chapter. He does all of this while maintaining a high GPA and double majoring in Marketing and Management. Being Trailblazer of the Year shows the dedication that Brother Nyhuis has put into his work both academically and in his extracurriculars.
