Alumnus and Trustee Rick Berk has issued a challenge to students, alumni and friends of Pi Kappa Phi. Rick will match the gifts up to a total of $25,000! This means the impact of your gift of $19.04 or more will be doubled and further enable us to provide a strong foundation from which Pi Kappa Phi men can learn, develop and grow into exceptional leaders on their campuses and beyond.
Rick is a 1982 initiate of the Alpha Upsilon Chapter at Drexel University and serves as a Trustee of the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation Board of Trustees. He and his wife Christine are committed to helping young people gain the skills they need to have a productive life. They strongly believe in Pi Kappa Phi’s commitment to empowering young men to develop their leadership capacity through the fraternity’s transformative leadership development, education, service programs, and, most importantly, the values of brotherhood and friendship.
They are equally impressed and inspired by gifts of our members and friends of the fraternity. “Our Fraternity gives us an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy, one beyond our families, occupations and communities,” says Rick. “Together we are part of something bigger than ourselves.”
Regardless of age, Rick believes it is never too late to have a lasting impact on our brotherhood. “Whether that is serving as a mentor or advisor, attending fraternity events, or by making a financial commitment, there are always ways to make a difference in the development of young men,” he expressed.
Hundreds of exceptional leaders have already benefitted from his tremendous generosity, and this gift ensures that thousands more will benefit in the future.
We are also very grateful for all you’ve done and continue to do to enable Pi Kappa Phi to thrive. We look forward to developing future generations of Pi Kappa Phi men into exceptional leaders.
With your gift, we are one step closer to meeting the challenge! Make your gift of $19.04 or more today and do an exceptional thing for your fraternity in less than three minutes!
