Pi Kappa Phi member named UT Tyler Fraternity Man of the Year

Theta Pi Chapter Vice Archon Taylor Kemp was named Fraternity Man of the Year, while member Jacob Van Der Schans was recognized for ‘SGA Project of the Year’ for his “Duro Fix It,” an on-campus bike service station. Pi Kappa Phi’s financial advisor, Christina Gibson, received the ‘Outstanding Student Affairs Professional: New Professional’ award for her works as a student development specialist-student money management.

UT Tyler students, faculty and staff submitted nominees, and a selection committee consisting of faculty and staff chose winners. The UT Tyler Department of Student Life and Leadership sponsored the awards reception, which is in its ninth year.
