Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity formally announces the closure of the Iota Pi Chapter at the University of Dayton, effective March 12, 2025, for failure to adhere to university policies and violations of Pi Kappa Phi’s Risk Management Policy. The Fraternity is thankful for our partnership with the university staff throughout this process and has partnered with the University of Dayton to receive a guaranteed return agreement for the chapter to return in January 2028.
Pi Kappa Phi seeks to create an uncommon and lifelong brotherhood that develops leaders and encourages service to others for the betterment of our communities. Dating back to the fraternity’s founding on December 10, 1904, at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, Pi Kappa Phi has exemplified a commitment to leadership, service before self, and exceptional opportunities for our members. Today, on more than 150 campuses across America, Pi Kappa Phi continues to broaden its commitment to building exceptional leaders through uncommon opportunities.
