Building buildings, replacing roofs, and constructing decks. “I never expected to be doing such manual labor like this,” says Truman State University Senior Jack Milford. All the volunteer labor is benefiting those with special needs who use the camp in the summer months.
“These guys coming here actually helps us be able to improve our site in ways that we could not otherwise do,” says Leslie Conrad, Outdoor Lab Director.
