Matt joined Epsilon Gamma Chapter at Longwood University in spring of 2012 shortly after the chapter rechartered in 2011. He immediately took on any leadership opportunities he could.
Each year, one undergraduate member of Pi Kappa Phi is appointed by the National Council to serve as the council's student representative. At each meeting of the year, this student has the chance to provide the National Council with the views and opinions of the undergraduate population on a multitude of decisions made. This year, Andrew Carnes, Theta Sigma (Cal. State - Long Beach), was selected. He recently sat down with Star & Lamp to discuss his new appointment to the position, as well as some of his thoughts on leadership.
On the banks of the Red Cedar at Michigan State University it's a tradition for fraternities, sororities, and student organizations to "paint the rock".
Brother Matt Smith won Mr. UT Tyler Homecoming king, representing the Theta Pi chapter.
On October 25th, Pi Kappa Phi Brothers from the Delta Alpha chapter at Virginia Tech hosted their Inaugural Ability Experience Carnival featuring live music, a dance party and an inflatable castle.
We want to share your accomplishments! Did your chapter just win Greek Week? Did you get a prestigious internship? Did you get married? Host an alumni event? Let us know with the quick form below and you could see your story on our website or in our next print issue of the Star & Lamp!
