Earlier this year, Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity welcomed a new set of leadership consultants. Similarly, The Ability Experience brought in four new logistic coordinator interns to help prepare them for the upcoming 2015 summer events. As luck would have it these new positions would reunite two elementary school classmates from Iceland.

Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity continues to grow with an average of eight to ten new or re-chartering chapters each year.
Thanks to the support of the University of Oregon Fraternity and Sorority Life community, Pi Kappa Phi at the University of Oregon was able to raise over $3,500 to support The Ability Experience and people with disabilities.
On February 20, 2015 the Alpha Nu Chapter (Ohio State) had the pleasure of hosting the first ever Ohio State Best Buddies prom. Because of The Ability Experience's partnership with Best Buddies International, the Ohio State Best Buddies Chapter reached out to Alpha Nu about hosting a special event this spring in tandem.
Alpha Nu opened the doors of the chapter house to about 30 members of the Best Buddies Chapter at Ohio State and a great night was had by all. The brothers and buddies danced, ate, sang and took some pictures together for two hours until the event was over. Everyone loved dancing to the "Cha Cha Slide", "Shout", and "Happy". It was a great event for Alpha Nu and the Ohio State Chapter of Best Buddies.

In the Fall 2014 Star & Lamp we featured an article about The Ability Experience's Summit Vision program with the Adaptive Sports Center. The event was designed to enable athletes with visual impairments to climb the high peaks of Colorado. Now, thanks to Big Cedar Media, we have a video of the event.
In 1959 the first Pi Kapp College was held to give student leaders "basic training" in their fraternity activities.
