There was a sense of unity in the struggle that the cyclists of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity endured Friday afternoon as they pushed uphill on South Palo Verde Boulevard in 114-degree weather.
Cyclists from Pi Kappa Phi Chapters around the country rode into Lake Havasu City Friday morning.
They're men on a mission to assist those with disabilities. They're members of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, and they're cycling across the nation as part of the 2015 Journey of Hope. Their goals are to raise funding for and awareness of people with disabilities.
The Ability Experience's Journey of Hope, a cross-country cycling trip organized by the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, has traveled through Park City the past few years.
