Tyler Lott Williams, Alpha (College of Charleston)

Each year, one undergraduate member of Pi Kappa Phi is appointed by the National Council to serve as the council's student representative. At each meeting of the year, this student has the chance to provide the National Council with the views and opinions of the undergraduate population on a multitude of decisions made. This year, Tyler Williams, Alpha (College of Charleston), was selected. He recently sat down with Star & Lamp to discuss his new appointment to the position, as well as some of his thoughts on leadership.

In America we have become so accustomed to being "plugged in." We are continually staring at a screen, whether it is a phone, tablet, or computer. People have turned into desensitized living rude walking zombies, and I happen to be one of those myself. We have attached ourselves to technology like addicts, and the signs are ever present.

The Adventure Begins

How does one pack knowing the bag must have most of what you need for two years? This afternoon I will be meticulously putting said bag together. I will most likely spend hours wondering: did I get everything I need? or are these enough t-shirts?
