The Kappa Epsilon Chapter (Stony Brook) raised over 600 dollars during their bike-a-thon for The Ability Experience. The Ability Experience is a non-profit organization that aims to serve people with disabilities by raising funds and awareness.
On the weekend of January 8-10, 2016, the Delta Chapter executive board had the privilege of attending the Allen O. Woody III Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers in Charlotte, North Carolina, with 38 other chapters from around the Southeast.
The Gamma Epsilon Chapter was honored to be one of 39 regional chapters to attend Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers this year in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Duke University senior John “Jay” Ruckelshaus of Indianapolis was one of 32 recipients selected for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarships for 2015. Ruckelshaus is a Harry S. Truman Scholar and Angier B. Duke Scholar who was chosen among 869 applicants at 316 colleges and universities throughout the country. He is also the 45th student at Duke to receive the scholarships.
Alex Shrum will be riding his bike this summer, a lot. He is participating in The Ability Experience's Journey of Hope bike ride from coast to coast in support of people with disabilities.
Freezing temperatures did not slow down a group of about 40 college students on Monday who volunteered to dismantle a damaged boardwalk at Sunshine Communities in Monclova Township.
