Derek Berger is a 2003 initiate of the Beta Xi Chapter at Central Michigan University. As a student, he served his chapter as Historian and Archon. After graduating from Central Michigan he served on staff as a leadership consultant and then as the coordinator of chapter development, focusing on the growth of associate chapters. Currently Derek serves as the chapter advisor for the Iota Chi Chapter at Ball State University.

The 55th Supreme Chapter was held the weekend of July 28 through 31, 2016, in Austin, Texas. The conclusion of the successful weekend included the installation of the National Council including the new National President Thomas B. Sullivan.
