University of South Alabama recognizes Pi Kappa Phi
The Office of Greek Life at the University of South Alabama honored sorority and fraternity members for outstanding service, leadership and academic achievement at the 2016-2017 Greek Awards Banquet. These organizations raised more than $102,000 for philanthropy this year, and dedicated nearly 32,000 hours toward service projects.

Journey of Hope riders to visit Walla Walla, Wash.
A Journey of Hope TransAmerica team will stop in Walla Walla Saturday after an 80-mile bicycle ride from Richland, the fourth day of a 4,370-mile cross-country event to raise awareness. They will gather at 5:30 p.m. in Wildwood Park, 7 S. Division St.
