Reed, a junior at Mercer University, is studying electrical engineering. He was selected to be a rider for what is known as “The Journey of Hope.” He is the son of Marcus and Patti Wells of Moultrie.
The Ability Experience, formerly known as Push America, is the national philanthropy for the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity with the mission of “building leaders of tomorrow by serving people with disabilities today.”
“Patti and I are very proud of Reed’s commitment to Journey of Hope. This is something he has wanted to do for several years and now he is only one of two riders from the state of Georgia. What a great way to represent Mercer University, his fraternity and his hometown of Moultrie,” said Marcus Wells.
