Partnering with the Southwest Center for Independent Living, the chapter spent their day constructing ramps onto the houses of two individuals that utilize a wheelchair. SCIL is a non-profit organization that provides services like ramp builds for low-income individuals with disabilities. These ramps were the seventh and eighth such projects that the brothers of Theta Lambda have completed in the past year, and there are plans for another two to be built this semester. Pi Kappa Phi is committed to serving and empowering individuals with disabilities, and the Missouri State chapter is grateful for the opportunities that they receive from organizations like SCIL!
