Folks converged on the Queen City from all over, not just Chapel Hill and Columbia but from as far as Philadelphia and Ft. Lauderdale to see these two rivals go at it on the gridiron. The staff was happy to open the doors to brothers, wives and friends of the fraternity with the national office on full display with local pieces of history, tours of the office and museum and light refreshments. Having two chapters with over a century of history each, there were plenty of photographs, articles and other treasures of history exhibited. Most of Kappa’s alumni board, Kappa Council, was in attendance and Sigma was represented, among others, by past National President and 2010 Mr. Pi Kappa Phi Jerry Brewer. No telling who will win tonight’s matchup but you can rest assured that Pi Kappa Phi won with these two chapters and their distinguished and dedicated alumni.
