Kappa Nu Chapter charters at Sonoma State

Past National Historian Frank Wrenn, Mu (Duke), and Past National Chancellor Daniel Bosshart, Gamma (UC – Berkley), served as installation officers for the Fraternity’s chartering of our newest chapter at Sonoma State University. The Gamma Chapter at UC – Berkley, Epsilon Nu Chapter at Sacramento State and Eta Omicron Chapter at San Francisco State initiated 68 new founding fathers into the Pi Kappa Phi brotherhood. It was a memorable experience for all involved.

Director of Expansion James Maloney, Beta Eta (Florida State), Director of Chapter Volunteers Beau Samples, Eta Upsilon (Miami – OH) and Assistant Director of Expansion Dalton Guthery, Alpha Gamma (Oklahoma), represented the national fraternity and facilitated events over the weekend.

The chapter hosted their banquet at a local favorite, Sally Tomatoes Event Venue. Jessica Roshak, the Campus Life Advisor for Fraternity and Sorority Life, welcomed all in attendance on behalf of the University and issued warm remarks from the Greek Life Office. Ethan Spector, member of Alpha Epsilon Pi and President of the Interfraternity Council, spoke on behalf of the IFC. Frank Wrenn delivered the keynote address. Brother Wrenn challenged the chapter to live the ritual in all areas of life, not just with our brothers. Brother Bosshart had few remarks before he presented the chapter with their new Charter. Bill Battista, Epsilon Theta (Seton Hall), who has served diligently as the chapter’s advisor, was also in attendance.

The Sonoma State Fraternity & Sorority Life community and Pi Kappa Phi are both extremely proud of the new founding father of the Kappa Nu Chapter and look forward to all that they will accomplish.
