The chapter was installed by current National Secretary Eric Almquist, Alpha Omicron (Iowa State), and Frank Wrenn, Mu (Duke). The 27 founding fathers were initiated into Pi Kappa Phi by the initiating teams from the Epsilon Mu (Bradley) and Iota Rho (Western Illinois) chapters. Overall, it was a memorable evening for everyone involved.
Representing the national fraternity at the chapter’s chartering banquet were the Director of Chapter Operations C. Brad Middleton, Beta Eta (Florida), and Senior Leadership Consultant Chris Aldarelli, Iota Lambda (Quinnipiac). University of Wisconsin Greek Life Advisor Maggie Hayes, Greek Life Specialist Sarah Pinon, and IFC Advisor Larry Brown were also in attendance.
C. Brad Middleton addressed the group on behalf of the National Fraternity and in his speech he reminded the group that, “Much like our Founders, you have built your own fraternity on a campus where others said it would not be possible. Now, it’s time build your legacy. Lead in academics. Lead in size. Show others what it means to lead through service.”
The Wisconsin Fraternity & Sorority Life community and Pi Kappa Phi are extremely proud of the men of Kappa Lambda and look forward to all that they will accomplish.
