On January 5th, 2019, the executive council of Kappa Eta (SUNY Geneseo) took on an intensive weekend seminar to learn about their newly elected roles.
Through many workshops, the brothers were able to coordinate working styles, hone their skills for their positions, and learn much more about brotherhood. The men had the opportunity to work together with other Pi Kapps from all across the northeast to tackle the tasks that will face them in the next two semesters. In addition, there was an awards banquet in which chapter archon Michael Harvey was able to make a speech commenting on his experiences at last summer’s Pi Kapp College for Emerging Leaders.
Kappa Eta racked up six awards including: The Champion Master Chapter Award, Most Improved in Campus Involvement Award, Outstanding Scholarship Award, Chapter Social Media Presence of the Year, Most improved in Branding and Communication Award and The Outstanding Governance Award. This night is met with a tremendous celebration for the Kappa Eta brotherhood.
