He was initiated as the founding Vice Archon of Theta Nu chapter (Delaware) in 2007, completing Journey of Hope that same year. After graduating, he was admitted to law school at Rutgers University. While in law school, John began volunteering as Push America advisor for Theta Nu chapter, chapter advisor for Zeta Kappa (Richard Stockton) and facilitating Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers, ASTP and Ladder of Risk. After earning his JD in 2010, John went on to become an attorney, but his service to the fraternity continued even with this demanding job. In addition to completing the Marine Corps Marathon as part of the 2010 Push America Challenge team, John served as chapter advisor for Epsilon Theta (Seton Hall) and later become regional governor for Greater NYC. The region grew from three active chapters to six with new chapters at Iona, Rutgers and Quinnipiac, in part due to his assistance. His extensive body of work at such a young age while balancing a successful career as an attorney illustrates exemplary dedication and leadership.
