Like many of his brothers at the Theta Delta chapter, Jahziel is the son of Cuban immigrants, the first natural born citizen in his family. Raised in West Palm Beach, Fla, he graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School prior to attending Florida International University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. During his time as an active brother, he was Risk Manager and Social Coordinator for two years and competed in Intramural Fraternity Softball. His professional career began as a system analyst working in health care technology. Today he works as the Director of Information System for Quantum Innovations, working on an electronic health record platform. He has continued to support his university as a member of the President’s Council since 2016, contributing and advocating on behalf of his alma mater. Last year, he began to support Rotary International and was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. As a proud alumnus brother, He advocated for Theta Delta to be rewarded with a fraternity house lease, one of just two at the FIU campus.
