Mike, a two-time Ironman finisher, aims to inspire others that they can still meet their goals despite significant obstacles. “I believe that [the race] can provide hope and inspiration to others that are dealing with this illness that they can still seek out their goals.”
The Ironman World Championships include a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, and 26.2-mile run. He will be competing in Kona, Hawaii, on October 14.
