One undergraduate member of Pi Kappa Phi is selected annually to serve as the student representative to the National Council. The student representative also chairs the Council of Archons, a student advisory board comprised of 12 current or past chapter presidents.
Hendel is pursuing his bachelor’s in marketing with an emphasis in advertising and promotion and a minor in communication. In addition to his current role as chapter president, Hendel has also served as secretary and social chairman. He is a University Ambassador in the Office of Admissions and a marketing intern at the Law Offices of Dee Wampler and Joe Passanise. Hendel is a 2016 graduate of Pi Kapp College for Emerging Leaders, the fraternity’s transformational, six-day leadership development program that empowers participants to create the ideal chapter on their campuses. He also spent this past summer serving as a crew member on the Journey of Hope, a cross-country cycling trip organized by The Ability Experience, a Pi Kappa Phi philanthropy to promote the abilities of all people and develop members of the fraternity into servant leaders.
“Noah has distinguished himself on campus and within Pi Kappa Phi by truly embracing his role as a leader, putting service to others above himself, and striving to better the world around him,” said Chief Executive Officer Mark E. Timmes. “We look forward to watching Noah continue to grow over the coming year as he takes this next step on his leadership journey.”
“I am honored to be able to experience Pi Kappa Phi from a whole new perspective,” said Hendel. “I’m excited to serve the fraternity on a national level, representing nearly 12,000 men from all across the country.”
