Gerard was a Re-Founding Father of Kappa Chapter in 2010. Since then he attended Emory University School of Law where he recently graduated with high honors and was honored as the Most Outstanding 3L by his classmates. While at Emory he was the Executive Symposium Editor of the Emory Law Journal, for which he hosted a symposium exploring free speech rights. As well as serving as one of seven Dean’s Teaching Fellow providing academic and personal support to the student body. During summers between law school Gerard worked at both the Department of Justice-Antitrust Division in Washington D.C. (2013) and at Davis Polk and Wardwell LLP in New York City (2014). After taking the bar exam this summer, Gerard will begin work as a law clerk in the chambers of the Honorable Orinda D. Evans in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Following his clerkship, Gerard will then return to Davis Polk to begin his career in their litigation department.
