Gamma Kappa at Georgia Southern Celebrates 50 Years

During the first weekend in October, the Gamma Kappa Chapter at Georgia Southern University celebrated 50 years of Pi Kappa Phi in Statesboro, Georgia. Over 140 alumni and guests met to commemorate this special occasion.

The weekend began with a 50th Anniversary Banquet on Friday evening that included alumni and their families as well as special guests, Brother Phil Tappy (Lambda), original chartering office for the chapter back in 1968, and the Fraternity’s Chief Executive Officer, Brother Mark E. Timmes (Alpha Epsilon).

On Saturday, a large tailgate and football game with the undergraduate students as well as the alumni took place. On Sunday, everyone headed home after a wonderful time in Statesboro.
