“We as individuals always say ‘this event changed my life’, well that’s what Journey of Hope (JOH) was for me. It’s one of those memories that I will forever cherish and will insurmountably have an impact on my life. But, [this year] I wanted something different. I wanted to be a part of an event where I could interact with campers and individuals for a longer amount of time and really foster great friendships because that is one of the aspects of JOH [that] I valued most Ð I still talk to the friends I have met over the past summer. I’m excited and blessed to be a part of a fraternity that spotlights the abilities of all people. And I’m beyond elated to be a part of the team for Build America!”
To date he has raised over $700 and is planning to hit his goal of $4,000 raised for The Ability Experience and people with different abilities. He is planning to have a Pizza & Philanthropy Night at Patxis Pizza in San Francisco on March 26th.
