This past weekend the executive board of the Eta Psi chapter at UCF participated in the Pi Kappa Phi College for Chapter Officers in Atlanta, GA.
Taking place from the 18-20th, this three-day conference allowed the executive board to receive training from Pi Kappa Phi officials on how to effectively perform both as an executive body and as an individual in their respective positions. Learning alongside brothers from other chapters in the Southeast, Pi Kapp College allowed the executives the opportunity to gain a new perspective on how to perform in their position whilst also being able to offer up some advice of our own.
Eta Psi also received two awards for governance, most improved and most outstanding, and Archon Joseph Torres got the opportunity to give a speech about the Pi Kapp College for Emerging Leaders.
After a busy weekend the executive, members look forward to returning to their chapter and beginning to implement some of the strategies and plans they learned while at the Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers.
