Eta Phi brothers take part in Special Olympics Maryland Polar Bear Plunge

This year, the water was a frigid 37 degrees. Over 6,000 participants braved the cold to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Maryland, including six brothers from the Eta Phi Chapter. Participants rushed in crowds into the chilly waters of the bay to raise awareness for Special Olympics Maryland, but had to raise money for the cause ahead of time to participate.

In total, Special Olympics Maryland raised approximately $1.8 million. Brothers that plunged include Jacob Hill, Andrew Brow and Jonathan Everett.
