Epsilon Alpha alumnus Trent Gilbert named VP for enrollment management at Monmouth college

Gilbert spent nine years working in the higher education enrollment field, most recently as a leading consultant in enrollment management. He served as the chief experience officer of Target X, a higher education consulting firm specializing in technology and the campus visit experience. In this role, Gilbert worked with more than 200 college and university clients, helping them to enroll more “best-fit” students and meet aggressive enrollment goals.

One of the nation’s leading experts on recruitment strategy, Gilbert has counseled admission offices, presidents and boards of trustees across the country on issues facing higher education, and has preached the tenets of the experience economy. As an industry expert, Gilbert has been quoted across mainstream media, and has been featured in both U.S. News and World Report and University Business Magazine.

While maintaining his admissions consulting work for the firm Render Experiences, a former division of TargetX, Gilbert took on a full-time role for a client, serving as Richmont Graduate University’s vice president of enrollment and administration. During his two and one-half years in this role, Gilbert has successfully increased the institution’s enrollment and has greatly increased awareness of the university’s brand.
