Hevel was recognized for this work that has focuced on the American college student, particularly on alcohol use among undergraduates and the historical trends of student drinking. He was presented the award at the American College Personnel Association’s Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida, earlier this spring. ACPA is a national organization that “supports and fosters college student learning through the generation and dissemination of knowledge.”
