The housing complex includes in-house living and apartment style living for the residence. As it has been for many, many years, The Delta Eta Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi at Morehead State serves Horizon Village as their local philanthropy, where the active member’s spend their own personal time to hangout, play games, and serve these amazing people. As stated by active and alumni members alike, the residents of Horizon are a part of the chapter member’s lives as much as the brother are for each other.
This past semester, we held two huge events with and for the residents. One picture shows our Horizon Prom, an annual event apart of our No Boundaries Week. The residents pick a theme every year, and this year was themed “Cowboy”! The other picture shows one of our many Rush events, this one being held at Horizon, where we had 25 potential new members. For a fun activity to do with the potential new members and the residents, we tied dyed shirts with USA colors!
We don’t just change the lives of the Horizon Village Residents, they change ours, forever!
