Cycling cross country for a cause

Three Purdue University students from Zionsville rode Saturday in the Pi Kappa Phi Mom’s Day 100-kilometer bike ride. The ride kicked off at 7:30 a.m. at the Zionsville Boys & Girls Club and concluded at the front lawn of the fraternity in West Lafayette around 12:30 p.m.

Senior Ryan Conrad and juniors Brian Rice and Mark Thorn, Zionsville Community High School graduates, joined other Purdue bikers early Saturday morning. Each rider helped raise money for the Pi Kappa Phi national philanthropy, The Ability Experience, which supports people with disabilities.
