Connor Aller Honored by State Board of Governors

Every year, six students who exemplify Missouri State’s Public Affairs Mission through high achievement and strong character are presented with the Citizen Scholar Award. Recipients must be nominated by university staff or faculty.

Aller gives credit to Pi Kappa Phi for continuously supporting him and his journey in improving the lives of others.

“Throughout my college career Pi Kappa Phi has been my home. A group of individuals who have supported me endlessly and that allowed me to lead them,” Aller said. “My time in Pi Kappa Phi has given me lifelong friendships, amazing mentors and the opportunity to lead.”

In addition to other past and current student leadership positions, Aller currently serves as the Chief of Staff in Missouri State’s Student Government Association.

“I am truly grateful to have been honored by Missouri State University in this capacity. I know that without the brothers of Pi Kappa Phi, I wouldn’t have been able to have such uncommon opportunities in my undergraduate career,” Aller said.
