As an undergraduate, Chris served two terms as Treasurer on Gamma Theta’s Executive Council. Upon Graduating from UNC-Wilmington he received his Masters of Business Administration from East Carolina University. In his first corporate role, Chris was an Account Manager for Gartner Inc., the leading IT research and advisory company in the world. In four short years he has received three promotions and ran a sales team for their Small to Medium Size Business Channel for two years. In three of his first four years he achieved Gartner’s Winners Circle enjoying trips to Australia, South Beach and Hawaii. In the spring of 2015 he was awarded the Channel’s Quarterly Behavior Award – given to the individual the Leadership Team felt best demonstrated Gartner’s Key Values. He recently relocated to Chicago from Fort Myers, Florida, to work in Gartner’s Major Accounts channel. In this role Chris supports local IT Executives leveraging technology to demonstrate business results.
Advice for students and young alumni:
“You will face challenges and difficult scenarios in and out of the classroom. Be optimistic and look at each as an opportunity to grow.”
