Brett served his chapter as Secretary and Archon during his time at Mercer. He then moved to Dallas to pursue a career in engineering as a mechanical engineer in the construction design industry and became a licensed engineer in 2015. With a calling and desire to serve, Brett and his wife moved to Port Shepstone, South Africa in August 2015 for full-time ministry work at a Rehoboth Children’s Village, a home for orphaned/abandoned children, many of which are HIV positive. Currently he is helping develop and run a water bottling plant at Rehoboth Children’s Village to make the village self-sustainable. He also runs the sports program in the village.
