National President Tom Sullivan, Delta Omega (Texas A&M), and Beta Theta alumnus Jake Henderson, served as installation officers for the Fraternity’s rechartering of our chapter at the University of Arizona. The Theta Upsilon (Northern Arizona), Iota Eta (Embry Riddle), and Kappa Kappa (New Mexico) chapters initiated 71 new founding fathers into the Pi Kappa Phi brotherhood. It was a memorable experience for all involved.
Assistant Executive Director of Chapter Development Brandon Belote, Theta Alpha (Southern Mississippi), Director of Expansion James Maloney, Beta Eta (Florida State), Director of Alumni Engagement Andrew Bublitz, Iota Rho (Western Illinois), and Leadership Consultant Harris Rosendahl, Kappa Gamma (Montana), represented the national fraternity staff and facilitated events over the weekend.
The chapter hosted their banquet at the JW Marriott in Tucson. Trace Camacho, Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Fraternity and Sorority Programs, attended with Marcos Guzman on behalf of the University and issued warm remarks from the Greek Life Office. Tom Sullivan delivered the keynote address. Brother Sullivan spoke on the impact of fraternity from his personal and professional experience, and challenged the group to always remember the impact they can have on those around them. Brother Henderson had few remarks before he presented the chapter with their new Charter.
The University of Arizona Fraternity & Sorority Life community and Pi Kappa Phi National Headquarters are both extremely proud of the new founding fathers of the Beta Theta chapter and look forward to all that they will accomplish.
