Beta Phi establishes Scholarship Program

The objective of the Beta Phi Scholarship Program is to recognize Student Chapter members for their academic merit, good character, and leadership within the fraternity.  Recipients were selected based upon grade point average, office/committee leadership, and community service activities.  The 2018 recipients are:

For 2018, the Beta Phi Scholarship Program is in memory of Mr. William Franklin (Bill) Marks, ECU alumni class of (circa) 1971 and brother of Pi Kappa Phi.  The Beta Phi Scholarship Program was seeded with a gift from Mr. Ralph Alfred Finch Jr, ECU alumni class of 1967 and brother of Pi Kappa Phi.  The Beta Phi Alumni Chapter is represented by Mr. Curtis Mack Davis, ECU alumni class of 1965 and brother of Pi Kappa Phi.  BPHC Inc is represented by Mr. Charles Clark (Chuck) Russell, ECU alumni class of 1992 and 1995, and brother of Pi Kappa Phi.

About Pi Kappa Phi at ECU

Pi Kappa Phi at ECU has evolved into 3 distinct organizations: the Beta Phi Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity (Student Chapter), the Beta Phi Alumni Chapter, and BPHC Inc (dba Beta Phi Housing Corporation).   Beta Phi Alumni Chapter administrative functions are provided by BPHC.  Beta Phi Alumni Chapter and BPHC organize the Beta Phi Scholarship Program and receive input from the Student Chapter officers. 

BPHC Inc is a tax-exempt North Carolina corporation and exists to managed student housing owned by the Beta Phi Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Our network of Brothers share a mission of fostering the Beta Phi Chapter, we voluntarily do this through leadership, annual giving, and property management.  Please share our message with family and friends.
