Pi Kappa Phi’s Beta Omicron Chapter and Sigma Sigma Sigma’s Alpha Zeta Chapter celebrated the First Annual David D. Morgan and Sherry F. Morgan “Extra Mile” Scholarship Banquet at Northwestern State on Thursday, April 6th.
Held at the new hotel Chateau Saint Denis in Natchitoches, Louisiana, over 180 student members from both chapters as well as alumni, guests, and special university staff members came together to celebrate fourteen undergraduate students who received this year’s scholarships. The two scholarships were established in 2008 for Pi Kappa Phi students and in 2016 for Sigma Sigma Sigma students. Together, they recognize students who are successful not just in the classrooms but who go the “extra mile” in all they do within their Greek organizations and the campus community.
