This story goes much deeper than June for these two friends and chapter brothers. Nick and Tyler were both founding fathers of the Theta Xi chapter at Arizona State University where their friendship began. While at ASU, they both served on their executive council in different leadership positions.
After graduation both went on to serve the fraternity as leadership consultants and once their time on staff concluded, both continued to stay involved as volunteers for the fraternity and The Ability Experience, but on different sides of the country. Nick went on to cycle Journey of Hope North route and the following year lead it as the Project Manager. After his second summer on Journey of Hope, Nick headed off to Officer Candidate School where he finished at the top of his class. He then received orders to be stationed at the Naval Base in San Diego, California.
After Tyler graduated, he headed off to Marquette University where he studied dentistry. Tyler recently graduated Cum Laude from Marquette University receiving his DDS. In 2014, both received the distinct 30 under 30 Award from the fraternity for all they are doing in their lives. Nick and Tyler are both stationed at San Diego Naval Base
Pi Kappa Phi thanks and congratulates Tyler and Nick for their service to the United States and Pi Kappa Phi. Their story shows that Pi Kappa Phi is truly a lifelong brotherhood of leaders.
