The Alpha Theta Chapter usually averages three men during the spring for recruitment. This year they blew that number out of the water and recruited 17 new members. This number shows that the chapter is heading in the right direction. Adam Doody, the Vice Archon and head of recruitment, was very happy with Alpha Theta’s success for Spring recruitmetn. With 17 new associate members our chapter is now at 70 and we plan to grow more over the next few years. Along with recruitment this semester the chapter has a lot of big events planned. For philanthropy they have a bike-a-thon and pie a Pi Kapp combined event to raise money for The Ability Experience led by Philanthropy Chair, Vince Tancredi. The chapter also went to Sigma Kappa’s Buffalo Wild Wings “Dine and Donate” philanthropy event to help raise money for their charities. On the weekend of February 21, our chapter has planned a brotherhood event with the Beta Iota at the University of Toledo. We will road trip down there, meet the brothers, see the house and hang out for the weekend. Overall, we are looking forward to a great semester!
