The chapter had a bike-a-thon that helped raise funds and awareness on the first day and a Spread the Word to End the Word campaign with Best Buddies on the second day. Alpha Lambda ended the week with a percentage night a favorite restaurant on the square in Oxford.
During that weekend the chapter had its very first Alpha Lambda parents weekend. There was a silent auction featuring items such as small gifts from local shops, and a signed football from Hugh Freeze the head coach for the Ole Miss Rebels. The Alpha Lambda Chapter raised $2,400 during the week.
