West Coast push is a four-day bike tour from starting in Portland, OR and ending at the University of Washington. The event honors Todd J. Porterfield, who was part of the 2000 Journey of Hope South Team as a cyclist. Tragically, on August 7, 2000 (five days before the Journey of Hope would arrive at its final destination in Washington, D.C.), Brother Porterfield was struck by a vehicle and passed to Chapter Eternal. West Coast Push gives Alpha Delta brothers the opportunity to experience the true meaning of fraternity that Porterfield believed in.
