Since becoming a Hurricane, Owen has demonstrated his dedication to the field of architecture, working as a computer lab student assistant, as an intern with both Living Waters Pond and Garden, assisting with surveying sites, designing potential ponds, waterfalls, and streams, and at Valle Valle Urban Design.

Last summer, Owen served as a community assistant for the UM Summer Scholars program, working with high school students from around the globe, served as a TA for an engineering course and RA for student participants in Hecht Residential College. Owen is Vice President of the UMSoA Student Council, Treasurer of UM’s chapter of AIAS, and Marketing Chair for UMSoA’s chapter of the USGBC Students. He received the School of Architecture’s Preston Award for Most Outstanding First and Second Year Student.
