Mark attended the University of Florida, where he studied accounting and joined the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi. He went on to earn his juris doctorate from the University of Florida as well. He originally joined staff in 1979, serving as the director of communications, then rejoined staff in 1994 as the executive director and transitioned to the chief executive officer role in 1996, serving in this role until 2022. In his free time, Mark enjoys playing tennis, reading DC Silver Age comic books and playing with his dog Piper.  

Fun Fact: Mark was a “military brat” growing up.
