Austin attended Mississippi State University, where he studied psychology and applied behavior analysis and joined the Iota Nu Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi. He served as the chapter’s risk management chairman and philanthropy chairman. Austin currently serves as a leadership consultant on staff, traveling to chapters across the country to assist with recruitment, marketing, retention, harm reduction, leadership training and brotherhood. He has been a Gear Up Florida cyclist and a project manager for Journey of Hope. In his free time, Austin enjoys cycling and playing pickleball.
