National Headquarters

Located in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina, the Kelley A. Bergstrom Leadership Center of Pi Kappa Phi is home to the fraternity's National Headquarters. However, the Bergstrom Leadership Center serves as much more than the administrative offices of the greater fraternity.

The Kelley A. Bergstrom Leadership Center

Opened in 2008, the Bergstrom Leadership Center boldly welcomes students and alumni with an exterior façade inspired by 90 Broad Street—the Charleston home of Founder Simon Fogarty and birthplace of Pi Kappa Phi. Inside, visitors are delighted by the rich history on display in the Eldred J. Harman Museum. Located on the first floor, the museum captures the charm of turn-of-the-century Charleston and houses such treasures as the original minutes (from December 10, 1904), the first membership badge (which belonged to Founder Kroeg), and the first issue of The Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity Journal (the Star & Lamp's predecessor).

Porterfield-Tirado Education & Seminar Room

Seating up to 60 theatre-style or 40 schoolroom-style, the Porterfield-Tirado Seminar Room is equipped with a built-in LCD projector and screen, as well as a handheld microphone and built-in sound system.

Iota Board Room

Comfortably seating 18 boardroom-style, this room is equipped with a built-in LCD projector and screen, as well as a white board.

Durward W. Owen Conference Room

Able to seat 10 boardroom-style, this room serves as a smaller, more intimate meeting space. The Durward W. Owen Conference Room does not have built-in A/V capabilities. This room is equipped, however, with a large white board.

Tours can be scheduled on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Requests for weekend tours will be accommodated based on staff availability.

The Kelley A. Bergstrom Leadership Center offers a number of customized options to meet your event needs. Located south of Uptown Charlotte, the Leadership Center is surrounded by food and entertainment options. Additionally, the staff can assist groups in setting up catering for an event.
