Nicholas Stampar
Nicholas Stampar, Alpha Epsilon (Florida), first learned about servant leadership during his undergraduate experience in his chapter, and it has defined his career trajectory. The summer following his graduation in 2016, he participated as a cyclist in Journey of Hope North Route before pursuing a master’s degree in urban and regional planning. After earning his master’s degree, he began working for a planning consulting firm that specialized in disaster planning and community resilience. He then went on to work for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless as a housing specialist, helping connect coalition program participants with housing, managing their housing assistance vouchers and supporting them in maintaining their housing. Currently, he works in the planning support division for the New York City Department of City Planning. Throughout his career, he has been motivated most passionately by work that primarily seeks to serve the public good. This passion drove him into the field of urban planning, and he feels inspired knowing that his work allows him to be a public servant.
Nicholas and his fellow Thirty Under 30 recipients will be honored at the 2023 Pi Kapp Alumni Reunion. Interested in joining us? Click here to learn more.
