Michael McBride
Michael McBride, Omega (Purdue), has had an abundance of adventures following his graduation from Purdue University, but his career began right here at Pi Kappa Phi as regional director of chapter services for The Ability Experience. Rather than starting his engineering career immediately, Michael wanted to give back to the Fraternity after his incredibly rewarding undergraduate experience. In this role, he was able to help mentor and develop the next generation of Pi Alphas and undergraduate students. Aside from work, he has traveled from Mexico to Columbia, organized and led a group of cyclists across Europe while fundraising a collective $20,000 for The Ability Experience and moved to Germany to complete a graduate program at the Technical University of Munich, earning a master’s degree in their elite responsibility in science, engineering and technology program. He and his wife now call the French Pyrenees home, and he has started his own consultant business there, contracting for multiple German technology startups in commercial operations and data analytics. He credits Pi Kappa Phi with shaping him into a better friend, husband, leader, coworker and mentor.
Michael and his fellow Thirty Under 30 recipients will be honored at the 2023 Pi Kapp Alumni Reunion. Interested in joining us? Click here to learn more.
