Garrett Dupree
After graduating with his bachelor’s of science in nursing, Garrett Dupree, Theta Pi (Texas-Tyler), continued his education at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. There, he completed his doctor of nursing practice – nurse anesthesiology degree and became a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). In his career as a nurse, he has been able to serve the traditionally underserved communities of Dallas, Texas, as well as the children who attend Camp TLC. This camp, where Garrett encouraged, enabled and educated children of all ages, offers children with Spina Bifida a chance to escape for a few weeks and just be kids. In addition, he was able to take part in a medical mission to Migori, Kenya, in 2022 and 2023, providing life-changing, critical anesthesia services to those who would have otherwise been unable to afford them. He embodies servant leadership every day through his career and continues to be a vocal leader who is not afraid to advocate for those without a voice.
