Dominic Caporale
Dominic Caporale, Beta Alpha (NJIT), graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering technology in December 2020. He immediately entered the field as an assistant project manager for EDA Contractors, working on roofing, waterproofing and metal panel jobs throughout the greater Philadelphia area until 2022, when he was offered a new role as an assistant construction manager at GREYHAWK. This role gave him the unique opportunity to manage a referendum construction project in his home school district, overseeing the renovation and additional projects at four schools. This new role closer to home allowed him to go from a part–time volunteer with the town’s youth basketball program to being the head coach and rebuilding the program, which has since doubled in size. His experience in Pi Kappa Phi furthered his passion for service through his role as philanthropy chairman and taught him that a strong foundation is the key to success. This is exemplified through his commitment to building a strong foundation for not just the basketball program but the young men within it who may need guidance from a mentor. His service to the community is more than just a sport; he is building a safe, fun space for local youth to grow as individuals.
Dominic and his fellow Thirty Under 30 recipients will be honored at the 2023 Pi Kapp Alumni Reunion. Interested in joining us? Click here to learn more.
