With a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach, Cory Carrasco, Theta Sigma, started his career journey in broadcast radio events management to then transition to nonprofit healthcare events management. During this process, Cory continued his passion for fundraising and advocacy for HIV/AIDS activism. In so doing, he has fine-tuned his career path towards nursing. He is Secretary of the Pi Kapp Pride affinity board, a recipient of Pi Kappa Phi’s 2021 Journey Facilitator of the Year, and is the Chapter Advisor at Theta Sigma.
